Rachid Hamida
Director – Business Development
Having joined Enova since 2017, Rachid is the Vice President of Energy and Technology.
In his role, Rachid is leading the company’s technology vision overlooking functions including Energy Engineering and Audit, Renewable Energy, Asset Management, and Enova’s Smart Monitoring Centre, Hubgrade. Through digital transformation and leadership, Rachid plays a key role in supporting Enova’s overall growth strategy in line with the UAE’s energy sector.
With over 20 years of experience, Rachid has also led Veolia’s Tools and Methods Division in France alongside various functions in the United Kingdom, North America, Eastern Europe, and Africa. He has considerable experience in directing and executing the alignment of digital strategy with business and commercial goals.
Rachid is a holder of a master’s degree in Intelligent Transportation Systems from Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Travaux Publics in France. He is also a board member of several UAE-based Clean Energy Associations and an expert public speaker.
